Pony Parties to Go
Pony Parties to Go are seasonal, April-October. We do accommodate pony parties at our barn during the off season, with all the bells and whistles, so come on out!
We offer an one hour pony party with two, three or four ponies at your site. A quiet street, neighborhood cul-de-sac, or yard all work well for our pony rides. We bring a portable corral to perform our pony rides in.
We currently have unicorns and a dragon costume, princess costumes, "My Little Pony costumes" (Applejack, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle) and cowboy/ cowgirl costumes. If you desire a different theme, give us plenty of notice and we can make the costumes! Extremely difficult costumes or unique, unlikely to be worn again costumes may require an additional fee.
There are no age restrictions for our parties but we do have weight limits that protects our ponies' health. (65, 85, and 110 lbs.) But don't worry if your older siblings can't ride; we find that often just leading the ponies around, and getting them ready is pretty fun too, and they can be the big shots getting to help out.
We use well-trained ponies with gentle attitudes, and have competent, respectful staff. All our rides are hand-led so there is always a handler within reach of each rider. And if a child looks unsteady in the saddle we'll ask a parent to walk along with him/her.
We require helmets; we have an assortment that we bring (along with cootie spray to ensure your hair health), or a bike helmet will be just fine if it fits correctly.
We reserve the right to alter or refuse service in the unlikely event that we find an unsafe situation. Your safety is of the utmost importance.
We require a $100 deposit.
We are fully insured by Equisure to perform traveling pony parties. Your homeowners insurance will not be a consideration.
We come rain or shine. The ponies don't care if it's raining and neither will the kids when they are on the ponies. So dress for the weather and make some memories! Should there be a need for us to cancel due to pony lameness or sickness, or some other unlikely event, we will refund your money and give you a credit for a discounted Pony Party.
If cancellation is necessary, deposit will be refunded up to one week prior to party. If cancellation occurs after one week prior to party, we regret we cannot refund deposit.
Right to refuse service:
We reserve the right to refuse service in the highly unlikely event we find a situation dangerous to the kids or our ponies. Your safety is important to us. If this event or circumstance is beyond your control we will be delighted to refund your deposit.
Everything a horse-mad seven year old could want....
My daughter's birthday treat was an afternoon of riding and horsemanship at The Whole Horse Place. She had a fabulous time, not only did she ride for the first time, she groomed and fed horses, learned how to lead them, care for them and be safe around them....everything a horse mad seven year old could want. She had such a good time we just had to come back. -Sian
Tina is a very patient teacher and spends time with each student to make sure that they are learning what they need to in order to get to the next phase. My children LOVE going there. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality horsemanship training. -Heather
A little girl's dreams came true this weekend…
PONIES IN HER OWN BACKYARD! Ms. Tina from The Whole Horse Place was Ashley's riding instructor this summer, and now she's offering "pony parties to go." She's very knowledgeable and we❤️ her. I honestly don't think Ashley has stopped smiling since Sunday. She already declared it the best day of her life! I wholeheartedly recommend booking a party (or joining us for lessons this summer!!).
Awesome! Had a GREAT time here. Kids aged 2-5 enjoyed every moment of it... except when it was time to go. -Lisa Inn Vally
THE WHOLE HORSE PLACE
A WHOLE HORSE EXPERIENCE FOCUSED ON SAFETY
The Whole Horse Place is a unique horse experience for the average person with little or no horse exposure. We offer many affordable program options for individuals or groups. Our approach to teaching horsemanship begins and ends with safety first. Teaching you to be in control of your horse at all times is our primary concern, and from that foundation all other aspects of horsemanship will be successful.
Come on out and have some fun!
